Description

The Air Force Medical Logistics Office/Veterans Affairs Special Services Contracting Activity has a requirement for a Customer Service Director located at Edwards, Air Force Base, California. Period of performance is anticipated to be 1 (one) base year with 4 (four), 1 (one) year options. This is the entry or development stage, preparing employee for full and independent performance of their work. Specific, clear and detailed instructions will be given upon entry; recurring assignment will be carried out independently. Conducts successive activities with objectives and priorities identified by program manager or team leader; assistance given on new or unusual projects or situations. Finished work will be reviewed to ensure accuracy and technical soundness. Contractor will be able to problem solve, exercise teamwork, customer relations, leadership, and resource management. The work will be timely, efficient and of acceptable quality meeting program objectives. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
