Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This request for quotation (RFQ), number 01Y090117 is for the purchase and delivery of Informational Technology Technical Training Vouchers. The Contractor shall provide hands-on technical training to include, but not limited to, databases, IT hardware, operating systems and programming. The Contractor shall provide all facilities, equipment, software and written materials for all classes. The Contractor must also have training facilities located with in a 35 mile radius of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, Il; Dalla, TX; Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA. The Contractor shall also make provision for a six-month retake policy. Solicitation documents, provisions and clauses herein are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (OCT 2000), and the clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (MAR 2001), applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall submit a fully executed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (APR 2001) with their offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (MAR 2001), applies to this acquisition as well as the following clauses cited therein: FAR 53.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (29 U.S.C. 793); FAR 52-222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); FAR 52.225-3, Buy American Act -- Supplies (41.U.S.C.) and FAR 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer -- Other than Central Contractors Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332). Firms having the ability to provide the products, as stated above, shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting its claim, inclusive of references listing contact person(s) and phone number(s); technical literature; GSA schedule, if applicable; and pricing.
