Description

Contractor is to supply all labor, materials, tools and equipment for site prep project at the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Pa in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Work includes the elevator machine rooms and hoistway such as installation of partitions & doorways, installation of a new HVAC system, modifications to electrical & fire protection systems, and various other upgrades. This construction project will provide site preparation for the upgrade of the medical center's main bank of 4 passenger elevators. Contractor will be required to work in close coordination with the elevator contractor to complete the project. NAICS 233320 $27.5M. Government estimate $100,000 -- $250,000. Bid packages will be available o/a 8/31/01. All requests must be on company letterhead and accompanied by a $35.00 non-refundable charge in the form of a check or money order payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
