Description

1. Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes for the supply and delivery of a front end wheel loader to be delivered to Santa Catalina Ranger District Warehouse yard at 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, AZ 85750. 2. Acquistion method is a 24-month lease with an option to purchase at the end of the lease period. 3. Quotes must state the purchase price and provide a formula which shows how purchase price will be established at the time of purchase. Formula must include all pay-off information and a detailed amortization schedule with no balloon payment. 4. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 by close of business September 6, 2001. 5. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 6. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. 7. Submit quote for the following item: One (1) front end wheel loader, Caterpillar 950-F, series II, or equal, capable of attaching to and pulling a 7-ton mobile rock crusher, delivered FOB Destination to the address in 1. above. $______________. All applicalbe taxes shall be included in the purchase price. 8. Price Range is between $75,000 and $150,000. 9. Desired delivery date is no later than September 30, 2001. 10. Quotes must include a completed copy of [FAR] 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. 11. [FAR] 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes in conjunction with price: 1) Number of hours of usage logged by equipment, actual or estimated, at the time of delivery and acceptance by the Government. 2) Completeness of maintenance logs and associated documents so that an evaluation of equipment condition, equipment past performance, and potential life span of the equipment can be ascertained by the Government. 12.
