Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is (Request for Quotation) RFQ 08-01-153. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This procurement falls within the definition of North America Industry classification code 421740. The small business size standard is 100 employees. SPECIFICATIONS: 1) Approx. size 25'x15'x10'2" high with one hinge door and dead bolt interior steel support structure; 2) Weather proof: snow load 30#sf, wind load-80 mph, exposure-exp c; 3) Seismic-2b; 4) Refrigeration: temperature 20-50, humidity 50-95, compressor failure alarm, temperature alarm; 5) Lighting-internal and external; 6) Service work & electrical work: power brought to building, one 125 amp electrical panel-230/1 wire condensing units and evaporators, wire lights, wire door service outlet, wire alarms, control wiring, wire drain line heaters; 7) Concrete work: excavate area, monolithic poor slab backfill and grading with floor sloped to trench, drain, run drain to daylight; 8) Plumbing work: 1/2 pipe cold water brought to building by others, water piping for humidifier and cold water wash down spigot; 9) Other: no racking, no use of forklift, and no need to hang equipment from the roof. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with offer. Far Clause 52.212.-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this procurement. FAR Clause 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this procurment.
