Notice of Contract Action. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB CA, has a requirement for non-personal services to repair and maintain the Air Force supplied LOCAM Model 50-0006, 16mm high-speed cameras used on board high performance military aircraft recording pictorial information in-flight test environment. The scope of this effort shall include inspection, cleaning, lubing, adjusting, replacing worn or defective parts, checking operation of equipment to factory specifications, repair of electronic components and preventive maintenance, and software upgrades and changes are also needed to correct operational deficiencies. The anticipated period of performance is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with two (2) one (1) year options. The anticipated type of contract is Fixed Price requirements, the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 811213; Standard Industrial Classification is 7699, 5 million dollars. The Government intends to negotiate a contract with Visual Instrumentation Corporation unless responses to this notice reveal other sources capable of satisfying the entire requirements (basic contract plus two options) with better terms and conditions. Interested parties have 15 days from date of this publication to submit literature, catalogs and/or brochures that will meet the requirement. Failure to supply the requested information will result in the Government not being able to technically evaluate the capability.
