Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to this RFQ, which shall be considered. Synopsis/solicitation N00604-01-T-B378 is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 97-23 and DFARS Change Notice 20001213. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Titan Systems Corporation, Pulse Engineering Division for four line items of encryption equipment. Line item 1 -- KIV-7HS data encryption device up to T1 rates (4070580-0051) Qty 10 each. Line item 2 -- KIV-7HS dual unit housing with two power supplies (3014-2) Qty 6 each. Line item 3 -- KIV-7 red cable assembly (RS-530/232) Qty 9 each. Line item 4 -- KIV-7 black cable assembly (RS-530-232) Qty 9 each. These items are to be shipped to Commander in Chief, US Pacific Command, Code J425, Camp H.M. Smith, HI 96861 with 30 days after date of award. The NAICS code is 333912 for this unrestricted acquisition. The following clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAP 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contracts Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial. Under this clause, the following are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; and DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program.
