Description

The Government intends to initiate a procurement of IKONOS data as follows: (1) Archive IKONOS PAN and MSI imagery for Saipan, Tinian, Rota and Guam in the Northern Marianas Island chain. (2) New IKONOS PAN and MSI for the American Samoa Island Tutuilla, Rose Atoll, and Swains Island as required by the Coastal Services Center, Charleston, SC for their Pacific Islands Geographic Information System project. Data shall be provided on CD-ROM. Delivery is required within 60 days of contract award. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. The solicitation document will be issued on or about August 27, 2001. Fax requests to (757) 441-3786. Telephone requests will not be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations received in response to this notice since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quote. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) with a value of less than $100,000.=20
