Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center has a requirement for Butane-Propane mixture, per FED SPEC BB-G-110, Type III, odorized for use in dehumidifier and hot water heaters at the Defense Commissary Agency in GUAM. Contractor will be required to provide propane tanks with the cost included in unit prices. The period of performance will be 01 October 2001 through 30 September 2001 with a possible two one year options. The yearly quantity is estimated to be 26,000 gallons. The acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisition. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about August 29, 2001 with quotes due on or about September 05, 2001. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "brad_e_demers@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.=20
