Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N00024-01-R-4133 for preparation and accomplishment of Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs) of USS HARTFORD (SSN 768), USS TOLEDO, (SSN 769) and USS MEMPHIS (SSN 691), beginning 07 January 2003, 04 March 2003 and 01 May 2003, respectively. The SRAs include maintenance, repair, alterations, testing and routine work on nuclear-powered submarines. Performance of this effort will be in the homeport area of Groton, CT in a Government-furnished dry dock or in the Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) dry dock. Advance planning is to begin at time of award, which is tentatively planned for February 2002. Each SRA is scheduled to last approximately 62 days. This solicitation is restricted to nuclear-qualified contractors. A fixed price contract is contemplated.
