Description

The requirement is to obtain the necessary qualified personnel, materials, facilities, equipment and services to perfo rm quality control of crashes investigated by Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network (CIREN) participants and evaluat ion support for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration=s participants in the CIREN. The offerors must demonstrat e experience in crash reconstruction investigation and reporting, and be knowledgeable of the NASS Electronic Data System an d the CIREN coding criteria and protocols. Contractor shall have Internet connectivity and an existing T-1 line for electron ic review and communications. Contractor employees will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement not to discuss or di vulge any data to third parties outside of the CIREN network. Contractor employees shall not be involved in police, insuranc e or investigative activities during assignment to the CIREN program. The Government contemplates awarding a Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity task order type contract. The Government requ irements will be identified and performed under issued Task Orders. The period of performance is for base period of one year with options for four additional one-year periods. The Government plans to issue a competitive solicitation using the NAIC Code 541330 (previously SIC Code 8711) with a SBA Size Standard of $4 million. Electronic copies of the solicitation will b e available at the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will res ide on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sit e for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
