Description

Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to provide one (1) aerobic instructor per class for each hour, day, and location of each scheduled class. Instructors must be able to teach both aerobic and step aerobics in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW) and be certified by a national aerobic federation or association. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. The proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611620 and the size standard is $5 million. Women and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit offers. Period of performance is 1 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. Funds are not presently available for this solicitation. The Government?s obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the contracting officer for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the contracting officer. Pricing that is reflected in the proposal shall remain valid from the date proposed to 30 Sep 02. Price will be the basis for proposal evaluation.
