Description

Market Search. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for hardware and software maintenance for one-year coverage for Avantra 44 imagesetter Model 44SS & Taipan/AX & RIP software located in Reston, VA. Hardware maintenance on Avantra 44 imagesetter Model 44SS in Reston, VA, and Denver, Co. Hardware maintenance on Avantra 44 imagesetter Model 44SS & on line processor located in Rolla, MO. Software support including telephone support and al revisions, updates and modification. Full coverage hardware maintenance including: Preventative maintenance, unlimited remedial maintenance calls, malfunctioning equipment part of component replacement, and reconditioning of equipment. The U.S. Geological Survey anticipates awarding the purchase order to AGFA Corporation. They are the only known company who has factory trained service technicians on AGFA equipment. This announcement is for information purposed only; no formal RFQ will be available. Vendors who can provide AGFA factory trained technicians and replacement of AGFA equipment/software maintenance are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice y faxing requests to CO at 703-648-7901. Affirmative response must include, but not limited to, documentation of AGFA trained technicians, price lists offered equipment, warranties, and any additional information indicating a bonfide ability to meet this requirement. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted. Award will be made on or about September 6, 2001 under Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100.00.
