Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, intends to negotiate a Basic Ordeirng Agreement with Health Net Federal Services, Inc., P.O. Box 2890, 2025 Aerojet Rd., Ranch Cordova, CA. 95742 to provide preferred pricing in accordance with their Preferred Pricing Program. This proposed contract action is for preferred claims pricing when elegible veterans use contracted providers for inpatient hospitalizations, outpatient care, ambulatory surgery, dental, professional services, and ancillary services, at a discounted rate, which the governement intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than September 11, 2001, 4:00p.m., to the contracting indicated above. See numbered Note 22.
