Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA intends to procure VME hardware and software in order to support a simulator/stimulator which will be used to replicate the propulsion, electrical, and auxilliary ship systems on the DDG-51 land based engineering site (LBES). This system shall include an Intel Pentium III processor, Input/Output cards, software and operating system, and all associated chassis, cabling, and transition panels required to perform its function. The system will be used to train prospective crew members and test software for the DDG-51 class ships. Requests for the solicitaion package must be received on or before 01 Sept 06.
