Description

The purpose of this project is to restore 2.47 miles of Bald Mountain Trail No. 784 and 6.4 miles of Douglas Trail No. 781, located on the Mt. Hood National Forest, Zigzag Ranger District, Clackamas County, Oregon. The work includes and is not limited to trail reconstruction to staked grades and alignment, removal of sloughs and berms, reshaping and refinishing back slopes, removal of protruding rocks and roots, filling ruts and troughs, construction of ditches, water bars, drain dips and other drainage structures, cutting back logs, stumps and brush, reconstruction of switchbacks and refinishing trail tread surface. This project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Quotes will be received until close of business on or about September 24, 2001. See Note 1.
