Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Kansas City Audio Visual pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source". The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM has a requirement for TRADOC Analysis Center for an upgrade to an existing Audio/Visual Display System, located in the Joint Virtual Laboratory (JVL) facility at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Interested contractors must provide documentation to show that they are providing either the brand name or equal equipment. Interested contractors must also have similar experience providing installation and integration for upgrading audio-visual display systems. Must also have to show that they have training experience, plus experience in removal, repair and periodic adjustments to systems similar to our existing audio/visual display system. Contractor must also be able to respond to maintenance requirement within a four-hour response period. The required components must be compatible with the existing systems' signal cabling, video cabling, and AMX control software. Three video switch subsystem components manufactured by Sierra Video Systems, Inc. which are part of this upgrade will be awarded to Sierra Video Systems under GSA purchase order and shall be installed by the contractor awarded the contract under this requirement.
