Description

DESC: The Federal Medical Center, Butner, NC intends to negotiate a sole source procurement of Beckman-Coulter Access II Immunoassy Analyzer (stock# 81600N). The Government believes that the Beckman-Coulter Access II Immunoassy Analyzer is the only equipment that meets the requirements at FMC Butner. The random access bench top analyzer must be capable of analyzing the following analyte's: B12, Folate, Ferritin, Testosterone, Insulin, Chlamydia, AFP, CEA, PSA, Prolactin, LH and FSH at a minimum. The equipment must be fully automated utilizing chemiluminescent technology, have on-board refrigeration, involve no pre-treatment, capable of performing primary tube sampling, reading bar codes, interface with a bi-directional Laboratory Information system. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however, responses received on or before noon, August 31, 2001 will be evaluated.
