Description

This is a combined synposis/solicitation for commerical items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and a written solicitation wil not be issued. This solicitation is issued Request for Quotation (RFQ No. RRB-DAF-110). The solicitation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332313. NIH-NIA Gerontology Research Center intends to purchase a total of twenty-two (22) Suspended Plastic Mouse Racks, complete with automatic watering, cages and feeders. There are 70 cages per rack. Cage I.D. 8.25" x 11.5" x 6" high; Rack O.D. 24.5" x 70" x 74" high; watering stainless steel, Model # 70MPSWF. Used racks in excellent condition are being considered. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; along with the following FAR clauses, cited in clauses 52.215-5:52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.225-3 Buy American Act-supplies. The following provision also applies to this acquisition, 52-32-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
