Description

DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for various commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DAJN02-01-T-0086 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Line item 0001, Description: Required: (Six) 6 Unit of issue (each). KUSTOM EYEWITNESS IN CAR VIDEO SYSTEM, Model 072-4200-00 (brand name or equal): Consist of the following: a) Sharp brand 3" high resolution color monitor, b) excellent audio clarity from integrated speaker, c) on-screen programming, d) rugged and durable steel VCR chassis and vault, e) industrial grade 4 head stereo VHS HQ VCR, f) VCR design allowing a tape to be fully inserted without damage to VCR, even with power off, g) locking tape access door and locking programming access, h) record over protection, i) fully self-contained environmental control system automatically protecting against heat, moisture and dirt, j) radar interface capable with standard for most new BEE III radar's, k) standard connectors labeled on rear of vault for easy installation, l) lowest light rating on market color camera with zoom capabilities, compact rugged construction size, m) Rugged 360 degrees breakaway windshield mount, n) wireless Microphone System, compact size, long range capabilities, 8 to 10 hours of battery operation and FM system with digitally encoded tones on several frequencies, o) extended warranty package and on site service. Inspection and acceptance will be performed by Central Receiving Point, Bldg. 509, Fort Buchanan, PR 00934.
