Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to release the Letter Request for Bid Samples (LRFBS) on or about 15 September 2001 for LAN Cable Test Sets. The Test Sets are to be procured by two-step sealed bidding procedures under Subpart 12 and 14 of the FAR with 3 Bid Samples and required data submitted in Step I in lieu of written technical proposals. Step II will be issued only to offerors who successfully completed Step I. This acquisition will result in a firm fixed price indefinite quantity fi ve year contract for LAN Cable Test Sets. The estimated minimim quantity to be procured 200 each, 13 of which may be required to be subjected to product verification testing (PVT). The estimated maximum quantity to be procured is 800. The LRFBS will be is sued utilizing full and open competitive procedures and will be conducted paperless to the greatest extent practical.
