Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to issue a Request For Quotations (RFQ) to furnish Title Commitments, Intermediate Endorsements, Curative, Closing & Escrow Services and Final Policies for various National Wildlife Refuges (NWR), located in various counties throughout the State of Tennessee. The FWS intends to award an Indefinite Quantity contract as a result of this solicitation. The issue date of the RFQ will be on/or about September 17, 2001, with a tentative closing date of October 17, 2001. The contract performance period will be January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002, with two one-year options and two Limited Option periods. The FWS is currently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue solicitations and resulting awards. You may view this RFQ at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. In order to submit a quote on-line, you must register at the same website. The User ID is your Dun and Brandstreet number, which can be obtained free of charge at 1-800/390-6633, and the password is your company's Tax ID number. After registration, you will be able to view posted solicitations, awards and submit quotes on-line. All prospective offerors with access to the Internet and an E-Mail address can receive electronic notification of awards. Offerors responding to this notice must be on the U.S. Attorney's List of Approved Title Companies ("The List"), and have offices located within the State of Tennessee. Only written, facsimile or e-mail request for this solicitation package will be accepted. The facsimile number is 404/679-4057. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 524127 is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $5.0 million.
