Description

Under authority of FAR 6.302-1, 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Engineering Field Activity Northwest, ROICC Everett, intends to extend contract N44255-97-C-5709, originally awarded to Evergreen Mobile Company, P.O. Box 687, Redmond, WA. The extension is for continued leasing of existing one-story pre-manufactured modular building sections. These units were originally provided and leased under contract N44255-93-L-4075, to serve as temporary medical/dental facilities until a new, permanent clinic was constructed. Present temporary facility contains special lead-bonded gypsum walls for x-ray shielding. Specifically designed "light-tight" revolving doors for darkroom use and include lead shielding. Specialized designed audio booth constructed with corrosion resistant flooring. Electrical ports for ceiling exam lights that consist of lighthead refectors supported by a ceiling mounted radial arm assemblies. Cabinets and shelving made from 18 gage formed steel and reinforced. Dental compressed air system. Dental oral evacuation system. Nurse Call system. Public Address system. The extension of this contract will be for an initial nine (9) months, with five (5) 3-month options for a total possible extension of twenty-four (24) months. Completion of the permanent facility is expected in FY02. A determination by the Government NOT to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
