- New Program. Status: Market Survey is to be conducted, during which various samples of domestically available alternate hair cloth fabrics will be reviewed/evaluated. No Solicitation Document Currently Exists. Objective: To conduct a Market Survey to identify alternate domestically produced materials for chest pieces for a future replacement of the current hair cloth (Types IV and SVIII of MIL-C-15065) used in the chest pieces of the Men's and Women's Dress Coa ts. If one of the submitted samples is chosen for further testing, t he manufacturer must have available/or be able to produce the needed yardage of fabric for a wear test in a short period of time. The CBD announcement should be open to all potentially valid submittals from interested commercial contractors. The fabric sample and information paper must be submitted no later than 16 November 2001 to Ms. Pam Moriarty, US Army Soldier & Biological Chemical Command, Natick Soldier Center, ATTN: AMSSB-RIP-RSQ(N), Room D226, Kansas Street, Natick, MA 01760-5019.
