- Description
- The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair, USN (SUPSHIP), has a requirement for ANDCO Model 7310T-42 inch Stanchion Actuators, ANDCO Model 3104A-04TW-21- FHX Eagle Interlocks, Model MAR250-3MT RCS Platform Interlocks and RCS Drive Plate Gear Racks. This requirement is being issued by Gov.Works under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior (DOI) on behalf of SUPSHIP and in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Existing aircraft elevator stanchion actuators onboard the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) are required to be removed and replaced under AR No. 01-00-324 with new NAVSEA approved high shock qualified actuators, ANDCO Model 7310T-42 for improved performance, reliability and safety and to restore the ships aircraft elevators to proper operating condition. In accordance with Military Standard MIL-S-901D, in both supported and unsupported conditions, only the ANDCO Model 7310T-42 was found to meet all the technical, performance, reliability, safety, and high shock requirements for Naval Shipboard Installation. Stanchion Actuator design, technical data, and drawings for the required ANDCO Model 7310T-42 Stanchion Actuators are proprietary to Dresser Flow Control Company. The period of performance for this effort shall not exceed 12 months from the date of award. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with to Dresser Flow Control Company for these supplies in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 working days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
