Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Indian Education Programs (OIEP), intends to award a contract to Lightspan Incorporated for interactive curriculum system, CD integrated program and a comprehensive online network system for the BIA/OIEP Blackfeet Dormitory, located in Browning, Montana, as a result of the receipt of an unsolicited proposal from Lightspan. Lightspan is a standards-based curriculum program used by students in Kindergarten through eighth grade that is proven to increase student achievement in reading, language arts, and mathematics. Items to be purchased: Interactive Curriculum Program, Lightspan, 1 school implementation package, 3 "Lightspan" Achieve NOW V2.0 Teacher License, 20 "Lightspan" Achieve NOW V2.0 Student License, 23 Play station game console, 20 "Lightspan" Achieve NOW hardware promo, 1 "Lightspan" Network, Initial Purchase, 1 "Lightspan" Network Subsequent Year, 1 "Lightspan" Network Reading Center, 1 "Lightspan" Network Reading Center Renewal. Quotes for equal or equivalent software products will be accepted. Note 22 applies to this solicitation.
