Description

The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB), has a requirement, for a contractor to provide broadcast quality video switching facilities and subsequent switching services capable of obtaining an alternate route from Miami, FL to Washington, DC. Reference is hereby made to combined synopsis/solicitation Submission No. 50T959, which was published on CBDNet on August 3, 2001, Cite W-215, SN50T959 (printed issue date: August 7, 2001), and Amendment No. 1, which suspended the solicitation, was posted on CBDNet August 22, 2001. This notice is considered Solicitation BBGCON1001S5244-MB Amendment No. 2. OCB's requirement is for video switching services, not fiber optic circuits as erroneously specified in the RFP. Therefore, due to a change in requirements, the solicitation is hereby canceled in its entirety. A new solicitation, correctly outling the Agency requirements, will be forthcoming.
