- Description
- Maintenance, overhaul/modification and recapitalization. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials/parts for maintenance, overhaul/modification/recapitalization of the T701 Turbine Engine , Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-114-2211, Input/Output P/N: 6044T06G01, and the T701 Power Turbine Module, Input NSNs: 2840-01-245-6001/2840-01-121-0752, and Input P/Ns: 6064T99G01/6044T08G01, the Output NSN: 2840-01-245-6001, and Output P/N: 6064T99G01 in su pport of the AH-64A/D helicopter. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with quantities as follows: T701 Turbine Engine minimum quantity of 40 each and the maximum quantity of 200 each, and T701 Power Turbine Module minimum quantity is 7, and maximum quantity of 35 each. The overhaul/modification/recapitalization will be accomplished in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement 1-2840-248-1 and 1-2840-248-2, dated 15 May 1999, and with Changes 1 & 2 dated October 2000 and all applicable AMCOM Engineering Directives (AED). The government required delivery schedule is as follows: T701 Turbine Engine -- output of assets shall be 180 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 5 per month; T701 Power Turbine Module -- output of assets shall be 180 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 1 per month. The government will provide the following as GFE in support of this contract: One (1) correlated T701C Engine, NSN: 2840-01-284 -4011, P/N: 6071T24G01, Two (2) slave T701 engines, NSN: 2840-01-114-2211, P/N: 6044T06G01, Two (2) T701 Digital Electronic Control Units (DECU) NSN: 2925-01-259-0339, P/N: 4082T99G02, Two (2) T701 Hydro Mechanical Units (HMU) NSN: 2915-01-332-2837, P/N: 4 046T52G24 or NSN: 2915-01-324-9347, P/N: 5074T79G09. This is a full and open competitive requirement. Responsible businesses that can perform the above effort may submit an offer, which may be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfu nded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date state d above.
