Description

The VA Medical Center, Boise, ID is currently seeking bidders to provide Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants and Sitters. Work areas include but are not limited to SICU, MICU, Emergency Room, Surgery, Extended Care, and Medical/Surgical. This contract will be used when other means to fill nursing vacancies are unsuccessful. Rsulting contracts will be firm fixed price contracts. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made. This procurement is for the base year of October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with the option to extend for two additional one year terms. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 561320. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Solicitaiton documents will be available on or about August 30, 2001. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for September 6, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the VA Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID in the Learning Resource Center, Rooms 1-2. Verbal questions will not be addressed. Technical questions must be forwarded in writing to the Contracting Officer and may be by facsimile at (208) 422-1139. All responses to questions, which may effect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. This requirement is subject to the availability of funding.
