Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation, and therefore, a formal written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333315, 500 employees. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to enter into a sole source procurement with X-Rite, Inc., Grandville, Michigan for the following items: ten (10) each X-Rite p/n: 820TR Densitometer, color transmission reflection, and one (1) each X-Rite p/n: DPT-41 Reflecting Spectrophotometer; Autoscan. Standard commercial warranty required. The equipment shall be delivered FOB destination to the Defense Information School, Ft. George Meade, Maryland not later than 60 days after receipt of order. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by September 06, 2001 1300 local time.
