Description

The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors for the switchgear replacement project at the Los Angeles Bulk Mail Center located in Bell, California. The project generally consists of (1) supplying spare parts for the existing 5KV switchgear and associated equipment; (2) performing an infrared scan of all existing electrical panels in the Bulk Mail Center; and (3) installing a power monitoring and metering control system. Estimated cost range is $80,000 to $120,000. The work is to be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed date. A proposal guarantee is not required.
