Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, 5600 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, Michigan 49015, intends to negotiate with Lombart Instruments, 5358 Robin Hood Road, Norfolk, VA 23513-2407 for eye examination equipment. The equipment required is a complete Lico Wheel Chair Refraction System to include but not limited to overhead lamp, counter balance wheelchair access slit lamp arm, tonometer, counterbalanced adjustable keratometer arm, adjustable phoroptor, reclining exam chair and various attachments. Interested offerors shall submit detailed literature that demonstrates offerors capability of providing this requirement to the contracting officer no later than 4:30 p.m. local time, September 19, 2001. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government retains the right to determine offerors capability based on literature submitted. Information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
