Description

66- It is the Government?s intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Clontech Laboratories, Inc., 1020 East Meadow Circle, Palo Alto, Ca. 94303 for the following: Mouse CS2007-2 Atlas Ready to Print Long Oligos 1000 pico mole size and 2,500 microarrays. The requirements for the Oligos include: (1) Must represent approximately 5000 mouse genes. (2) Must be composed of oligonucleotides approximately 80 bases long. (3) Must represent known and named genes. (4) must be in a form that is ready to print without further manipulations of the gene segments. (5) Each gene must be represented by an oligonucleotide that has less than 70% homology to any other gene in the GenBank database. (6) Must be available in a 96-well format to allow automated printing of the microarray. (7) Must be enough DNA to prepare approximately 2500 microarrays. (8) Each oligonucleotide in the collection must be experimentally shown to produce a strong and specific hybridization signal. (9) Must not be 5? ?amino-modified.(10) Must provide 2-day training session and protocols for printing and hybridizing microarray slides. An RFQ package will not be available. See numbered Note 22.
