- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration plans to make award to Cambridge Systematics, Incorporated (CSI) to develop and deliver Pontis 4.0 software and manuals. Currently the American Association of State Highway and Transportation (AASHTO) has a contract with CSI to develop and deliver Pontis 4.0 software and manuals. The project will be developed under the existing AASHTO contract by CSI. The objective of the training is to provide State and local highway agencies with a comprehensive overview of the Pontis product. The course will use practical, hands-on exercises to demonstrate the many features of the software, which address the primary objectives of bridge management. CSI is uniquely qualified to provide the services needed. The original version of Pontis was designed by CIS. Because no other source has the same experience and expertise with the software, no other source is considered reasonably available. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about September 11, 2001
