Description

The US Property & Fiscal Office -- New Jersey intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with AEROSIM Corp. to purchase FMST/VFD trainers. FMST/VFD must have capability for simulations in a desktop training environment, allowing users to complete di fferent lesson segments. Trainer must allow users to off-load many task events. Simulation must allow pilots to program and customize lessons and tutorials at all levels. Must be able to create a database of customized lessons. The lesson plan must be able to prompt the pilot through audio messages to perform certain actions and monitor the response by means of trigger parameters. System must allow any user of the computer simulation program to pause the training lesson or mission he/she is currently f lying and practice a separate maneuver, complete a different lesson segment, navigate to a different facility, or basically enter any comand desired, and at the same time, keep the integrity of the original program simulation intact. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. No written solicitation will be issued. anticitpated award is on or about 20 September 2001.
