Description

The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for engineering and technical support services in the areas of fluid dynamics, stability and control, fabrication technology, digital avionics, systems design, structural analysis, mechanical hardware design and advanced software development, and wind tunnel & flight test support. Emphasis is placed on experience in the low Reynold's number aerodynamics. The period of performance is for 12 months with four (4) 12 month option periods. The contractor shall provide, on a level-of-effort basis, 28,720 scientific, technical, engineering, and support hours for the base award and 28,720 per year for each option, if exercised. The incumbent contractor is ITT Systems, INC., Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Naval Research Laboratory uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. A detailed statement of work will be issued with the solicitation. This solicitation and any amendments to it will be available via the Internet at the URL address shown below. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. Numbered Notes 25 and 26 apply.
