Description

The Contracts Dept., of FISC, San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Joe Olive, Clark Olive Ranch, 10990 Creek Rd., Ojai, CA, for services as Assistant Catholic Program Administrator for Naval Base Ventura County. Administrator will be responsible for implementing the religious and liturgical education of the chapel communities of Ventura County in accordance with the mission statement and goals established for the chapel communities. At a minimum, this position requires a Masters Degree in theology, Masters Degree in Religious Education, or higher degree of Theology or Religious Educaqtion. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. I nformation received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement action is being conducted under the policies of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Period of performance will be for 1 base year with 2, 1-year options. See Note(s) 1, 22.
