Description

On or about 5 August 01 the 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews AFB intends to issue and post on the Federal Business Opportunities home page at: (http://www.eps.gov/spg/USAF/AMC/89CONS/postdate_1.html), a solicitation for the Maintenance & Repair of Fire Alarm Systems at Andrews AFB, Brandywine, and Davidsonville Communication site in Maryland. The services include Inspections, Testing, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance/Repairs. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 235310. The size standard is $11.5 million. Solicitations can be downloaded from the above website. Hard copies (paper sets) will not be provided. All information required for submission of an offer will be included in the solicitation. The government in contemplating a contract for the basic period and four one-year option periods. The government reserves the right not to exercise the options. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the government to pay for proposal preparation cost.
