F09609-01-Q-0027: AMENDMENT to Solicitation is hereby issued. This amendment is prepared for clarification of CLIN 0001 through CLIN 0004. Each class is designed to accommodate up to 25 adult learners. The four (4) classes will be held in four (4) different locations. Quotes shall include total cost for transportation, meals, lodging and instructional material. The training is essential to Air Force fire protection manager?s ability to implement recent mandates in Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) number 6055.6, DOD Fire and Emergency Services Program. The training is critical to senior fire protection managers and prepares fire chiefs to distribute their resources based on fire demand, risk assessment of the hazards and how best to deploy to support the mission of their base. The training will blend National Fire Protection Association, International City Managers Association and Department of Defense criteria into specific criteria as it pertains to the Air Force. The training will be five (5) days in length at locations to be established by the Air Force. The full text of all FAR clauses may be accessed electronically at: www.arnet.gov.
