Description

The contractor shall provide all supplies and services necessary for a Physical Fitness Facility to include: the facility, aerobics classes and walking and jogging programs, all equipment needed for cardiovascular, nautilus, and strength / free-weights. The Physical Fitness Facility must meet the needs for all DOD personnel assigned to the Pentagon, working out of offices within the Rosslyn and Crystal City areas. All work will be performed at the Fitness Facility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 713940 and the corresponding SIC Code is 7991 with the size standard being $8 million. Basic performance period is 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002, with four (4) one-year options. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors ? location is significantly more important than past performance and requirement of physical fitness facility, and past performance and requirement of physical fitness facility is more important than price. This procurement is going out unrestricted, full and open competition. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 4 Sep 2001: http://www.eps.gov.
