Description

Asbestos Removal -- 2300sf Acoustical Ceiling Spray Texturing on the Palouse Ranger District of the Clearwater National Forest, Latah County, Idaho. Work to consist of, but not limited to: demarcation of abatement area; installation of critical barriers/containment; construction of a three-stage decontamination unit; construction of a two-stage ACM waste load out; establishment of containment under negative pressure; wetting and removal of ACM Acoustical Ceiling Spray Texturing and any associated non-ACM materials; double-bagging of all removed debris; thorough cleaning of the area; thorough encapsulation of the abatement area; proper disposal of ACM waste and non-ACM waste; environmental area and personal air monitoring during removal; final PCM area clearance air monitoring. Award of this contract will be contingent upon available funding. NOTE ADDITION: This project is issued using commercial item procedures. The solicitation will be available on September 4, 2001.
