Description

The USDA, ARS, MSA, has the intent (Subject to availabilty of funds, pursuant to FAR 52.232-18) to procure a Base Stat ion DNA Analysis System and CAR-004, Genotyping Add-Oh Kit that includes Cartographer Genotyping Analysis Software and Genot yping Dichroic Module both one (1) each. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commerical items prepared in acordan ce with the formate in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement cons titutes the only solication; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 2001 -4431-011 is being issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are required through the FAC 97-12. Offerors are to provide prices for the following: (1) 1 ea Base Station 51 DNA Analysis System. (2) 1 ea Add-on kit with software and genotyping dichroic module. Delivery of the equipment will be to the Corn Host Plant in MSU. Descriptive literature must be submitted along with your quote to David McKenzie, Contracting Officer, 662-686-5373 via fax. Offers must be before Sept 12, 2001.
