Description

The closing date has been reduced from 11 Sept 01 to 05 Sept 01. This system will be procured using FAR parts 12 and 13. This solicitation is full and open. Solicitation will be issued on or around 01 Sept 2001. Contractor shall provide a single Fixed Ratio Plural Component Paint Proportioning System for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Unit shall be delivered fully assembled and capable fo performing the the intended functions as contianed in the scope of work. The unit shall atomize 100% solids of two component paints at 5,000 psi with a mixing ration of 4:1. The unit shall support a minimum of three 5000 psi rated airless guns delivering a minimum of 1.3 gallons per minute at 3,000 psi to the gun tip (o,17-inch orifice). All three guns shall be located 250-feet from the fixed ratio proportioner. The distance to the remote mix manifold is 100-feet, and the distance from the remote mix manifold to the three spray guns is 150-feet. Unit shall be designed to change the ratio settings between 1:1 through 4:1, shall include individual dispensing ports, shall include pressure guages, shall be designed for easy disassembly. Shall be designed and capable of dispensing Ultra-high solid (MIL-PRF 23236) and epoxy paints (MIL-DTL 24441). Unit shall include two 55-gallon drum feed systems with single-post air-operated elevators. Shall be mounted on a portable skid. on-site training required. =20
