Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Cubic Defense Systems, for services required in support of Joint Staff Integrated Vulnerability Assessment (JSIVA) Teams. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a continuing need for Terrorist Operation (TO), Security Operations (SO) and Operations Readiness (OR) personnel to fill scheduled and unscheduled vacancies on JSIVA Teams. Cubic Defense Systems has available personnel who meet the specialized requirements and qualification test standards required of a JSIVA team member. The twelve (12) month period of performance is estimated to begin on or about 15 October 2001 and continue through 14 October 2002. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have thirty (30) days, from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after thirty (30) days, or without the required information, will be non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice must be received by close of business, 1 October 2001. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code.
