Description

The following Amendment No. 2 is issued to Solicitation No. 69D-224-01, CBD Submission No. 50V295 dated 8/16/01. The purpose of this Amendment is to provide additional information on existing speaker locations and zone definitions. In addition, this amendment includes information on the main components of the existing equipment. As per specifications, contractor shall be required to utilize the existing equipment to the fullest extent possible. A. Zone Definition. All floors are incremented by 1 floor. Zone Approx. Bldg. Existing Equipment Specifications: 1. Main console/equipment racks: Equipment is primarily Bogen, with some Rauland, Shure, and Biamp, Most of the Bogen equipment is well over 10 years old; other equipment is approximately 4 years old. 2. Speakers, typical, ceiling-mounted Rauland USO (188) 8-inch, dual-cone speaker Permanent magnet, seamless cone type with an additional cone to extend high frequency response. 8 watts RMS power output Transformer: 25V/70V; taps: 5/16, 5/8, 1 , 2 , 5 watts Frequency range: 65-17,000 Hz 3. Rauland ACC1101 back box, recessed (also some Soundolier SE175-4 surface-mount back boxes for wall-mounted speakers) 4. Rauland ACC1001 flush-mount ceiling baffle (also some Soundolier 161-8 surface-mount baffles for wall-mounted speakers) 5. Rauland ACC 1104 T-bar Support Bridge 6. Belden (8461) 18 gage, PVC insulated, twisted pair cable. There are no other changes to the specifications. No change in Offer Due Date.
