- F41636-01-T-C0408 -- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS and SOLICITATION, for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information below. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Handheld Spherical Video Camera, SVS-2005, 2305, and 2501, 70 GB External Fire Wire Drive, 1 each, CLIN 0002: Spherical Software User License, 1 each. FOB: Destination 78236. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (iMove, Inc, 33 NW First Avenue, Portland, OR 92709, CAGE 1GXQ8), under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement request. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications if not already on file with this office, and must be registered in the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. An official separate request for quotation (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), will not be provided incidental to this announcement. All interested parties may be submit their offers via Fax, e-mail, or, US Postal System. The Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Award will be based on conformance to the conditions of the requirement, evaluation of price, responsibility of offeror, and the overall best value to the Government, in terms of, technical capability, price, delivery, and special features. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00PM (CST), 10 Sep 2001, with acceptance to be valid for 30 days. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. FAR Clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and Paragraph (d), 52.212-5 are incorporated by reference. Evaluation factors per 52.212-2 are: Technical capability, (Item must be portable, capable of capturing video in 360 degrees mode (including upward and downward view), be able to seam and compress data into panoramic views, be internet interactive, and be deliverable to the government within a short amount of time (30 days) to meet mission requirements time constraints), Price, and Delivery, Special features (specialized 6-lens digital camera, and post production software).
