Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to James River Technical, Inc., 4808 Purdue Drive, Metairie, LA 70003-1145, (504) 888-2343. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Award will be made based on evaluation factors of price and technical capabilities as required. This is notification to interested parties. The reference number for this announcement is F33SCX12350300, and the detailed description is as follows: Subject request is for 4 EACH- Array-Disk Raid Array 219GB Fast Wide Differential Raid consisting of the following: 1 -- 9 bay Rack mount enclosure with 3 150W redundant power supplies, fans, audio/visual alarming, and 7 hot swap drive bays; 1 -- CMD-5440-1-2 (Fast wide differential to host and wide single ended to disk Raid controller with 64MB cache); 4 -- 73.4GB 10,000rpm Seagate disk drives (3 for data and 1 for parity); 1- Set of 19? Rack mount Rails; and, 1- Set of external cables and terminators (James River Technical Part #RAID219GB). Please specify delivery.
