Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This purchase request (PR) will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR number: FB526012210017. (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. =20 (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted in regards to size standards and will be competed under full and open competition. =20 (v) This RFQ contains one (1) line item: 0001 Liquid Oxygen (LOX), Aviator's Breathing. =20 (vi) Minimum by weight composition 99.5% Unit Pack: Bulk Type II; Quantity is not to exceed 75,000 gal. (vii) Oxygen will be ordered on an as needed basis from 1 Oct 2001 to 30 Sep 2002. Delivery must be made within 5 calender days of the request by the using activity. Oxygen provided will be subject to government inspection and standards in accordance with with MIL-C-27676 or functional equivalent. FOB point is: 15 LSDCB Bldg 3023 Hickam AFB, HI 96853 =20 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.=20 (x) A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, must be provided with each offer.
