Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commericial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with addtional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only announcement. A written solicitation will not be issued. The govenment requires Satellite television programming for 01 Oct 01 thru 30 Sept 02 to include the following channels: CNN, ESPN, WTBS,USA,Discovery, Disney, TNT, Family Channel and Sci FI channel for 538 sets at Brook Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston Texas. The Government owns the Satellite Signal Receivers, the Decoder Modules, the Channel modulators and the head end. The Satallite receivers are as follows: 6 each Blonder Tongue 2001, 2 each Holland HMH-500H, 1 each Blonder 6185. There are two Satellite Dishes. One Dish is non Galaxy 1- C Band, and one dish G star KU Band. The following clauses/provision apply: (1) FAR 52.212-1"instructions to offerors", (2) Far 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations and Certification-Commericial Items" (3) Far 52.212-4 "Contract Terms and conditions Commercial Items" (4) Far 52.212-5 Contract Terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders- commericial items (5) DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contracting Registration.
