Description

Contract oncology physician to provide consultation/screening as to the appropriateness of referral for chemotherapy versus other treatment, modalities such as radiation therapy or hospice referral. Additionally, contract physician will provide consultation, treatment and oversight for all patients receiving chemotherapy. This will include initial and follow-up consultations, review of pending studies, i.e. lab, x-rays, pathology reports, discuss patients with physicians, and when requested, will consult on patients whose chemotherapy regimes are especially difficult to manage. RFP is available September 21, 2001 and must be requested in writing (FAX 970-244-7721). The RFP has also been distributed throught the VA Business Opportunities System and may be accessed from the VA Solicitations Index page at: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sol.htm beginning September 21, 2001. Proposal is due October 22, 2001. Award is contingent upon availability of Fiscal Year 2002 funding.
